& Lake
The pictures on this page were all taken over
the last few years during the restoration of the Abbey.
This is the inside of the abbey where there is
a shop, restaurant, garden centre, small museum and several thousand wasps
- most of which like me a lot more than I like them. One stung me
just after taking this picture.
In this next picture you can clearly see the poor
state of the building which is undergoing restoration. This is the
upstairs of the abbey.
And finally some pictures of the lake itself where there are lots and lots of very greedy ducks and swans.
The first pictures shows the bridge that was used
in the children's tv series "The Secret World of Polly Flint". The
second picture shows the old mill.
