Other Were-animals

Christine is the only were-tiger in the city. (At least a resident in the city - see Gideon.) She is not particularly fond of Anita but she does come to her for help when were-animals are disappearing from the community in Narcissus in Chains. She acts as a representative for all the groups that only have one or two members in the city.
Kasper was cursed by a witch and became part swan. He is the Swan King (although Donovan Reece refers to him as being only a Swan Prince) and jealous of the more vicious shapeshifters because of the animal he is. (Personally I have found swans to be some of the most vicious birds and can hold their own but Kasper obviously disagreed.)
He runs an antiques and collectables store.
He supplies lycanthorpes to Titus and Aikenson for them and others to hunt.
He was killed by Edward.
Gideon is a lycanthrope in the form of a tiger. He has orange eyes and is very old. He is part of the triumvirate with Captain Thomas Carswell and Padma.
César is a were-jaguar at the Obsidian Butterfly club. He mistakes Anita for a shapeshifter.
Seth is a were-jaguar of Obsidian Butterfly.
He is forced by his mistress to make sacrifice to her and when he cannot manage to do that Anita helps him. He is then offered to her as hospitality for her stay in the area.
It is his life that is taken and restored on the stage during a ritual with Tlaloci that gives Anita the knowledge she needs to solve the case.
Chimera is also Orlando King and is a panwere. Having been attached by a were-animal when hunting one down he decided that rather than live as one of the monsters he would ensure that he died before the first full moon.
Unfortunately all he succeeded in doing was infecting himself with many forms of lycanthropy so that now he is a mixture of many monsters.
However he can still pass as the human Orlando King (retired premiere bounty hunter) and is known for his lectures and he consults with the police. He had even been brought in to help convict Jean-Claude of Anita's "murder".
Chimera is Narcissus's lover but also tortured him and the were-hyenas and Micah's pard of wereleopards.
He had planned for Micah to take over the local wereleopard pard and for a wolf in his employ to take over the local werewolf pack. Both pard and pack being in turmoil. He just did not bank on Anita Blake.
Marco is a lion man and works for Chimera. He is the main henchman for him and was killed in the final battle at Narcissus in Chains.
Narcissus is the owner of the club named Narcissus in Chains and he is also a were-hyena and Oba of the local Clan.
He is the lover of Chimera but then taken prisoner by him while Chimera takes over the were-hyena clan through fear of what he will do to Narcissus.
He is eventually freed when Anita and the others come to the rescue of the wereleopards.
Ulysses is a were-hyena and one of the bodyguards of Narcissus. He is terrified of Chimera and the lover of Ajax. He breaks down in tears in front of Anita but does not warn them that they are walking into a trap.
He is shot by Nathaniel who kills him to protect Anita.
Ajax is a were-hyena and a bodyguard of Narcissus. He is also the lover of Ulysses. He had his arms and legs removed and then the ends burned so that he could not heal the damage. Chimera had then threatened to keep him in a box like that.
Coronus of the Black Water Clan is a snakeman who was working for Chimera. Chimera takes the form of Coronus (as well as others) when Anita finally comes face to face with him.
Donovan Reece is the town's Swanking. He had been born as one and has feathers on his chest. His hair is normal but he knows that in time, if he lives that long, it will turn to feathers too.
He is in debt to Anita for her rescue of the swanmanes and allies with her.
Anita sees him as arrogant as he believes that he will only change if he wills it so.
Nilisha is a werecobra who comes to Anita for help when her husband disappears. She is known as the Kadru. She believes that her husband is dead.
Henry is a werecobra and the mate of Nilisha. He is known as the Kashyapa. He is missing and we do not get to see him in person, only hear about him.
The children of Nilisha and Henry, they are also werecobras, that form of lycanthropy being hereditary. They go to Anita with their mother for help.
Boone is a werebear who goes to Anita for help because his Ursa, queen, Rebecca Morton was missing. Chimera takes the form of Boone (amongst others) when Anita finally confronts him.
Gil is the only werefox in town and although he is not missing anyone he comes to Anita because he is scared. However he is not much use to her as he will save his own skin before anyone else and is not good in a fight. It is pointed out to him that he might have been safer staying away from Anita.
Gil has a fleeting appearance in Incubus Dreams when he is in a car accident when someone runs a red light. As the only werefox he is very dependent on the "Furry Coalition" and they come to his rescue to ensure that he is not put into a secure facility whilst he is unconscious and unable to do anything about it.
Gil has no family and it is never confirmed whether he recovered completely or not.
Janet goes to Anita with the other were-animals when he son disappears. They are were-dogs. However unlike the others who are ready to ask the police for help Janet is reluctant as her son wants a career which would be closed to him if his secret were out.
Their lycanthropy is inherited and not connected to the moon.
Joseph is the missing were-lion known as the Rex.
Bacchus is a were-hyena of Narcissus who gives Anita the lowdown on what has been happening at the club. He tells them that the hyenas are being held prisoner and tortured and that they would follow her if she went up against Chimera.
Abuta is a weresnake (anaconda) of Chimera's. He thinks that Chimera is a god.
