Katherine Marshall is an Entertainment Lawyer in 1996.  Well used to hearing the Hollywood story lines revolving around supernatural she was not sure how to react when she finds herself confronted first with the ghost of a native American woman and then with the knowledge that she is in 1892.

Trapped by the snow she is forced to stay with the handsome mountain man Flynt Avery who lives as a recluse in the Cascades, his only companions the animals and the native American SnowEagle.
