Remember Love by Susan Plunkett is the second of the Time Passages series published by  Jove/Putnam Berkley.

This is the tale of Winifred McCanless, a brilliant scientist who died in a lab fire and was reborn into the body of Felicity Forsythe in 1866.

Winifred's time travel is prompted by the spirit of her dead brother Joey in the hope that in her new life she will learn to love.

But Win's new life does not come without it's problems.  For as Felicity she is saved from drowning in the icy Alaskan waters by her new husband, Ransom Hamilton, who was tricked into marrying her.
